All proceeds from this week's winning bids will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), the world's largest voluntary health organization, dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, LLS has invested more than $600 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.
The Blu’s Auction is a charitable project. All proceeds are donated to non-profit organizations in support of medical research, child welfare, education and many other good and worthy causes. New auction items are displayed each Thursday. Bidding opens 9 pm Thursday evening and stays open for one week, closing at 9 pm the following Thursday.
