Karyn Chopik’s latest original jewelry is wonderfully tactile and impressively beautiful. Influenced by the Modernist Jewelry movement of the 1930’s, there is a focused attention to large geometric primary shapes. Her resin series are bold and energetic filled with the excitement of gold leaf over swaths of acrylic paint. She has created a multidimensional universe with intriguing layers over her metal work. They look as if they are floating through time and space.

She is also introducing a new series of heavily carved thick precious metals reflecting the style of the later period of Modernism from the 70’s.
